In addition to my work as a print makeup artist, I offer personalized services for private clientele (AKA the non-model woman).
If you are like many women, traversing the vast world of makeup can be daunting. Few of us were born with an inherent knack for knowing how to line our eyes and gloss our lips perfectly. It just seems to get trickier as the years go by and facial features change!
Some of us get pretty hard on ourselves because of it, or just give up on makeup entirely.
I specialize in teaching “age-defying makeup techniques” - little tricks that help a face look years younger. By that, I don't mean, spackling on a lot of makeup so you no longer feel like you. My approach is truly about connecting with who YOU are and your lifestyle.
When looking fabulous is important to you, but you'd rather someone else worry about the finer points, then hiring a terrific makeup artist to prepare you for photos and special occasions is the perfect plan!
Having someone like me with a skilled understanding of photographic makeup is imperative if you are having professional photos taken. Makeup applied well, will look great and last under various lighting conditions, for digital or film photography, in studio or outdoors, and can save quite a bit on retouching costs in the end.
